Calculating Measurement of Uncertainty and Six Sigma can take up precious time for laboratory technicians and supervisors who are already working in tight constraints on a daily basis. Technopath have a range of tools that automate those calculations for laboratory users allowing them to focus on other critical activities.

The IAMQC® software range allows customers to define Total Allowable Error percentage values which are then used to calculate Sigma scores for instruments in the lab. The measurement of Uncertainty report allows customers to define Standard Error of the Mean values for each test/level on each instrument which is then used in the calculation of MU and providing an Excel based output for MU for each test and instrument.

Finally, the variation that comes from different reagent lots can cause laboratory technicians to be unsure of their instrument performance. The Reagent Lot Report allows the laboratory users to see how their instrument performs for each test per reagent lot used throughout the month and also see how all other instruments performed on the same reagent lot.
